OK. I’m an early riser, usually up out of the bed and ginning around the house by 6:15 a.m. or so. I am also a creature of habit. My usual waking up routine (sparing you the details) is waking up to use the facilities usually around 5:45 a.m. Then I get the coffee started, the pets fed and the newspaper brought inside. Like I said, this is my groove and I go with it.
Anyhow, I woke up this morning as usual, got the groove going, piddling around waiting on the coffee to be ready when I hear “Are you OK? What are you doing?” I turn around and see a very groggy and confused Mr. Iknead standing in the kitchen. Now I’m confused. This is what I do every morning. Same time every day. Except that it’s 2 a.m., not the usual 6.😳🤔 This is what happens when my autopilot is engaged. I just figured that since I’d made a morning visit to the loo, the next thing on my agenda would be the coffee, the pet feeding and the newspaper dance. Today is going to be really, really long………… You can bet I’ll glance at the clock from now on. ⏰⏰⏰
Westknits Boneyard Shawl
The yarn is some of my own handspun, using fiber from Three Waters Farm Top of the Month Club; the turquoise is Knitpicks Bare and is also handspun and dyed. For something that I considered stashbusting busywork in the beginning, this project has knocked my socks off and then some! I love it!
Oh! Please ignore the odd shadow that looks like a dog drinking a beer. It’s just me getting the photo. 🍺🐶
