Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s post, Wednesday Show and Tell! I hope you like it!
On and Off My Needles
I finished the Crazy Monkey socks last night, much to my relief and they turned out well. As soon as Mr. iknead gets up, I’ll duck in and grab them for a nice bubble bath, then a gentle stretch. Here’s a sneak peek, along with the deets …….
The Crazy Monkeys
Fiesta Baby Boom
I’ll post them again after their bath and block – promise.
As for what’s on my needles, I’m digging the Boneyard shawl still.
The multicolored yarn is three ply, the turquoise yarn is a single.
I’m super pleased with how this shawl is knitting up and I’m proud that I spun and plied the project yarn myself. I think it’s looking great so far!
On The Artdesk
Some ATC background prep with vintage dictionary pages cut to fit ATCs and aged with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Tea Dye with Vintage Photo over it.
Background of Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry
Small Squares stencil rubbed with baby wipe
Sheep stamp, letter stamps, music note stamped in Tim Holtz Black Soot on gray cardstock, cut out and glued to page
I love a play on words! Yeah, it′s corny, but it makes me smile.😋😋😋🐑🐑🐑
So, I think that about sums up my active wips at the moment, my socks are finished and I have a couple of new projects waiting in the wings….
It is important to honor our beginnings, to remember that we matter and that we have a place in this world that no one else has. Unknown
