Pumping Iron — ok maybe not iron, maybe something like tin foil

It’s official… I start working with a personal trainer on Thursday.  I’ve been working out, doing Zumba and yoga several times a week and trying to watch my food intake for a good while with no real results.  Clearly, professional help is required. 😐  My main goals are to increase my upper body strength and lose at least 30 lbs.  I’ll be blogging my success with this new fitness routine, so stay tuned!

Amazingly, this yard has been in my stash for a while and matches almost perfectly with the sweater in the photo.  Sometimes, the planets align, the angels sing and the perfect yarn is already in your stash! 🌎⭐️😇🎶

The jury is out on whether this yarn is right for this project.  It seems a little busy for this particular pattern…the leaf pattern gets lost, I think.  Some heavy rumination is in order.

Happy Birthday Peach!!!!!!

The Peach turned one!!!!  It’s hard to believe that this time last year, I was in Bangkok, helping take care of this precious baby and her big sisters!

Here she is, about two hours old!  It truly feels like it happened just last week!  All my life I’ve heard that time speeds up the older you get.  So true!
