Los Monos Locos (Crazy Monkeys)
Unfortunately, these photos don’t do Innocence justice – it’s a lovely mix of soft greens, browns, blues and lavenders.
My Boneyard Shawl is progressing nicely-
Westknits Boneyard Shawl
Handspun by Yours Truly
Fiber is from Three Waters Farm, BFL Superwash
The more I knit on this shawl, the more I fall in love with it. My less than perfect spinning and Boneyard are a great pairing and I’ll never consider my handspun to “not be good enough” ever again.
Pots and Pitchers
I went back into the pottery studio after taking a break over the summer. It was such a nice surprise to find that some kind soul had taken these little pots into the kiln room for bisquing to ready them for glazing when I returned. Thank you, thank you, thank you, whoever you are!
I apparently was on a pitcher jag when before I took the semester break. The third photo is just a downward angle on the second pot to show the heart shaped 💓rim — a happy accident. 😋 I hope that the next time these little pitchers show up on the blog they’ll be glazed.
See? I told you it was a crazy crafty week! 😁
I find imperfection the most interesting thing about a person. Unknown
