Here We Go!
Hi ya’ll and welcome to this Wednesday’s post, Up, Up and Away, On My Needles, Ouch! I hope you like it!
Up, Up and Away!
The Bangkok bunch has finished the first leg of their journey back home to Arkansas, Bangkok to Hong Kong and have begun the second leg, Hong Kong to Dallas, TX. I’m here to tell you that those two flights are long, long, long ya’ll. Long as in about 13 hours EACH. Hopefully, at least the kids did some sleeping.
The Papoose and Sprout are old hands at this plane travel thing! Lovies, blankies, headphones – everything you need on a long flight. 😀
On My Needles
It’s starting to look like something other than just a wad of stockinette. When the body is finished and bound off, the sleeves are knitted in the round and finally, when the sleeves are finished, stitches are picked up along the neckline for the collar.
I turned my ankle several weeks ago in my Zumba class but didn’t think anything about it. It was a little sore, nothing big. Fast forward to Monday and Zumba. When I got home and pulled my socks and shoes off, this was staring back at me……
So this is what a sprained ankle looks like! I’ve been babying it and the swelling is better, still there, but not nearly as bad and the pain is better. I’m going to wrap it good this evening and go to Zumba, I need to move! Anyone else have a Zumba jones? I’ll admit, I don’t have nearly the moves that I see the youngsters busting, but I do OK. 😋🕴👟
