Hi everyone and welcome to Bragging on Craftsy, Still on the Make, The Countdown Starts. I’m so glad to have you here!
Once again, Craftsy has gone above and beyond with their customer service. The short version goes like this:
Sunday, I have an email from Craftsy with a code that allows me to chose one of their classes for $19.99. Yay! There was a beginning watercolor class, took in the info and pitched it into my tiny virtual shopping cart. Then, I headed over to Paypal – one of the best inventions ever in my opinion, and checked out. I noticed that the amount I would be billed for was $69,99, not the $19.99 quoted in the email. There was a little blurb saying that the coupon code for $19.99 would be applied at final check out. OK, fine, no worries.
Next thing, Paypal sends me an electronic receipt in the amount of $69.99. No discount. Hmm. Did I read it wrong? I went back and checked, yeah, they were offering me the class of my choice for &19.99. OK. I sent Craftsy an email stating the issue and asking for a cancellation and refund. This was on Saturday. Later that day, I get an email from Craftsy, here’s an excerpt:
Clarity and transparency are most important and I am aware that we are including this information going forward.
Since I don’t have the ability to offer the discounted price on this class, I did refund you in full, this will return to you in 3-5 business days. As a thanks for your understanding you can click the link below for a free class.
Terms and Conditions: Get any one Craftsy class for free! Excludes classes from our partner, The Great Courses and from our Start Up Library class series. Expires April 29, 2017. Coupon not redeemable on Craftsy iOS or Android Apps.
Please let me know if I can shed light on anything further, I am glad to help however I can.
So, not only did I get a prompt refund, but got a free class of my choice. Craftsy – You have amazing customer service. Thanks for making it so easy!
Constant Readers – I see the sale is still running – if you’ve been coveting a class, this is definitely a good time to snatch it up!
AND THE BEAT GOES ON
I’m still awash in creative juices – I worked yesterday on creating different backgrounds that I can have ready to use when inspiration strikes and I have to get started RIGHT. THIS. SECOND. Here’s a look at some of them –
Jumbo manilla tag, watercolor, stamp set
Last page in Visual Journal
Spray inks in lemon zest, dirty martini and cut grass
Watercolor paper, ourple acrylic paint, Distress Stain using Seedless Preserves, Peeled paint and Vintage Photo, along woth a die cut feather and flag pushpins.
Last, my newest supply acquisition. I’ve been dying to trying these after seeing Stephen Holtz demoing (is that even a word?). Cool stuff!
I made a little swatch –
Top – Iced Spruced
Middle – Cracked Pistachio
Bottom – Wilted Violet
The countdown has started. In 65 days, the Bangkok Branch will be at least stateside, and us folks here in Arkansas will be chomping at the bit to be together as a family again.
I’m linking with Frontier Dreams today. You’re welcome! 😊
