Hi everybody and welcome to this First Snow, The Cure post! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
OK, I admit it. I’m a snow lover. I probably wouldn’t be if I lived somewhere where there was snow on the ground for months on end, but here in Arkansas, snow days are celebrated! I even rolled my lazy self out of bed at 3 a.m. just so I could sit and watch it fall. I know, I’m crazy, but I can nap this afternoon if I want. ❄️❄️❄️
I believe I’ve found the cure for my MIA knitting mojo. Yeah, I was feeling pretty awful about most of my WIPs and my seeming inability to settle down and knit on anything. Everything just felt blah, mostly, I think, because of my difficulties with the Smithfield pullover, knitting and frogging, knitting and frogging, knitting and frogging. So, I decided to take the pressure off. I frogged the entire thing, wound the balls and pushed it WAY back into the corner of the stash, possibly to never see it again. And what do you know!! It feels as if a heavy weight has been lifted and knitting has become enjoyable again! Yay!
