On, Then Off My Needles, Booklove 10-19-16

Hi ya’ll and welcome to this week’s post, On, Then Off My Needles, Booklove 10-19-16.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Well, Cloud Chaser is still on my needles,  but just barely.  She’s in time out until I get over my frustration with my current pattern screw up.  As best I can tell, I misunderstood parts of the pattern and somehow got pretty much everything except the back bassackwards.  I tried and tried to figure out what I did wrong but as yet, I’ve had no luck.  Crap.

My knitting projects have suffered over the last week, mostly due to me having my days and nights mixed up from the jet lag of flying from Bangkok to Little Rock.  I think I might have had some “sleep knitting” going on, from the mistakes I made – unnoticed dropped stitches, pattern motif  being just a shade off, probably because of a stitch miscount, too tight stitches, too loose stitches and just all around sloppy work.  It will take a bit of time to correct the mistakes, but it won’t be impossible.  😢
