Whatcha Workin' On? Wednesday #64

I ran across this photo the other day and it’s one of my favorites.

The little girl is my mother, I’m guessing maybe three years old.  The man holding her is her father (late in life baby don’t ya know), I believe the old lady wearing the bonnet is Mom’s grandmother, sitting on her right is Aunt Myrtle and I think the lady in front of her is another aunt or cousin.  I don’t know her name, but she shows up in other family photos.  The face peeking out from around my grandfather’s hat is Mom’s only brother and the oldest sibling, Hays, in his early 20s around the time of this photo.

All have gone on to their reward (as my Aunt Veda would say) but this photo brings them back to life for me every time I see it and makes me smile.

It’s a family thing.

A thousand thanks to all who visited and linked or who just visited (fear of commitment – I totally get it).  Amazing projects!  Keep coming back!  So, what are you working on this Wednesday??

I’m always on the lookout for more linky love!  If you have a link you’d like to see in the lineup, drop me a comment – the more the merrier!
