So close to finishing!

Celtic Myths Shawl

I love just about anything about space, probably because I remember the excitement around the early space program.  I actually remember seeing John Glenn’s flight on TV and it seemed everyone was infected with “space fever”.  And yes, we had TVs, even way back then. 🙄🙄🙄. But I digress.  I’m completely engrossed in Failure Is Not An Option – A History of Ground Control From Mercury to Apollo by Gene Kranz.  I remember seeing these ground control guys (no women behind the consoles back then) on TV so much that they started to feel like next door neighbors – at least in our household.  I loved reading about how technology progressed and was refined over the years.  Did you know that computers date back to the Mercury program?  Me neither.  Crazy good book.
