ON MY NEEDLES

Kew Socks

These socks are turning out to be way, way too big for me.  Crap.  Keep?  Gift?  Frog?

ON MY MACHINE

OK, this is not technically on the machine, but I have it cut out and ready to start. What’s holding me back is the 2″ bias tape maker that I had to order.  It’s due today and I plan on getting started as soon as it’s in my hand.

BETWEEN THE PAGES

This week, I’m reading Cemetery John by Robert Zorn, about the Lindberg kidnapping and The Skeleton Crew, a book about amateur internet sleuths solve or at least attempt to solve cases involving missing persons or unidentified remains.  Very interesting!

BELLS

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been pretty disorganized the past few weeks about getting my Wednesday blog post up and running.   I like to have it ready to post by Tuesday evening and hate to feel like I’m already falling behind as soon as I wake up in the morning.  It’s a time management thing.  I was invited to join a community handbell group (I love playing bells) and we rehearse Tuesday evenings, consequently throwing off my nice, cozy schedule.  Totally worth it, though.  I just need to get into the habit of getting it together earlier in the day.

BTW, we still could use a couple more ringers to fill out the group.  Send me a comment and I’ll fill you in on rehearsal times, etc. if you’re interested.
