*Whatcha Workin’ On Wednesday – I’m getting lazy and just figured out that WWOW is a great acronym for this Wednesday link party. Now, if I can just remember to use it or maybe just remember it……..
ON MY NEEDLES
Sara Tunic, Knitting on the Fringe
I was a little concerned at first about the 20 inches of stockinette this pattern calls for as I tend to get really bored, really fast when faced with more than a few inches, but I’m happy to report that this isn’t the case with Sara. With size 7 needles, the stitches and rows fly, making me a happy camper!
Did I mention that this is the perfect project to work on as Mr. Iknead and I binge-watch Mad Men?
Zigzagular Socks, Prairie Girl Designs
The details of which elude me at the moment as the ballband is missing in action.
This is actually the third incarnation of socks with this yarn. I’ve had a challenge finding a pattern that does this beautiful yarn justice. You know, the perfect yarn calls for the perfect pattern!
The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan
Necropolis, London and Its Dead by Catherine Arnold
Dollbaby by Laura Lane McNeal
A Cruel and Shocking Act by Philip Shenon
ADVENTURES IN BAKING
Butter, cinnamon, sugar – what’s not to like? These are seriously delicious. Seriously delicious as in “if my house catches fire, I’m rescuing these first” delicious. OK, maybe I’m exaggerating (which Mr. Iknead says I do a lot) but not much.
