ON MY NEEDLES
Oh gosh! Where to start…
My Sara Tunic looks like a mess, but the front is finished and off the needles, with about 10 more rows to do before finishing the back. After finishing the back, I’ll sew the shoulders and complete a little gusset thingy on each side before finally joining the sides. Sort of like it says on a car mirror – objects in mirror are closer than they appear. 🙂
Next – Zigzagular socks. one down, 7/8ths of second sock to go.
I still haven’t found the ball band for this mystery Madeleine Tosh yarn, but I’m still looking. Don’t you love the little snaky cable?
This next project may be my downfall –
Hopefully, this pattern will be transformed into something resembling View D. Allowing for the fact that I’m really a terrible seamstress but still somewhat of a legend in my own mind, I plan on figuring it all out as I go. Stay tuned.

CHOCOLATE CAKE: IT’S WHAT’S FOR DINNER
I’m a big fan of justapinch.com and this is my newest favorite cake recipe– Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake. Super easy and super good. I fixed it for the family cookout last weekend and except for the coconutphobes in the family, it got raves. C’mon…..how can you NOT like coconut?
